"This I Promise You" was recorded back in 1999/2000 and was released on *NSYNC's third (yes, third, not second) album, "No Strings Attached". It was written, produced, and arranged by Richard Marx.

The song became the third single off of the No Strings Attached album and was also released in Spanish ("Yo Te Voy a Amar") as well as in Spanglish.

The song also has a video for the English version as well as the Spanish version. Both videos can be found on *NSYNC's "Most Requested Hit Videos" DVD.
